The My LLC section displays all the data for your Delaware (United States) company. Delaware LLCs are governed by Delaware state law and have different obligations than a UK Ltd, so the dashboard is tailored specifically to this jurisdiction.
Data you can view
- Official name: the name of your LLC as registered with Delaware
- File Number: your company’s registration number in the state of Delaware
- Date of formation: the day your Certificate of Formation was filed
- Status: Active (in good standing) or Void (not in good standing, usually due to unpaid Franchise Tax)
- Registered Agent: name and address of your registered agent in Delaware
- Members: the LLC owners and their ownership percentage
- EIN: your tax identification number with the IRS, once obtained
What is an LLC?
An LLC (Limited Liability Company) is a US business structure that combines the limited liability of a partnership with the tax flexibility of a sole proprietorship. For non-residents, a Delaware LLC that does not operate within the US can have very advantageous tax treatment.
Key differences with a UK Ltd
- It has no «directors» or «PSC» — it has members
- Its main obligation is the Franchise Tax + Annual Report, not a Confirmation Statement
- It requires a physical Registered Agent in Delaware (included with Aiden)
- To operate fiscally it needs an EIN instead of a UTR
💡 Tip: if you’re unsure what obligations you have with your LLC, ask Lunnar or check the Taxes section of your dashboard, where you’ll see your key Delaware dates.
