The most common options
- Wise Business: the favourite among international entrepreneurs. Multi-currency accounts with local banking details in GBP, EUR and USD, low fees and highly online-friendly. Works well for both Ltd and LLC
- Revolut Business: similar to Wise, with subscription-based plans, physical and virtual cards and good integration with invoicing tools
- Mercury (for LLC): digital banking aimed at startups with a US entity, widely used by non-resident LLCs
- Traditional banking: classic UK and US banks typically require residency or physical presence, so they’re rarely the first choice for non-residents
What they’ll ask you for
- Certificate of incorporation: the Certificate of Incorporation (UK) or Certificate of Formation (Delaware), available in your Aiden dashboard
- EIN if you have an LLC: American platforms always require this. If you don’t have one yet, read our EIN guide
- Your identity: passport or ID of the account holder, and sometimes a verification video call
- Business description: what the company does, your website, expected source of funds
- Company address: the registered address provided by Aiden
Tips to get approved on your first attempt
- Be consistent: the company name and activity you declare must match what appears in the register and on your website
- Have a minimal website: even a landing page helps a lot during review
- Don’t abandon your application halfway: incomplete applications usually end up rejected
