Two-step verification (2FA): how your Aiden account is protected

Two-step verification exists so that a stolen password isn’t enough to get in. Your Aiden account (account.aiden.es) has no password: every time you sign in you have to prove you have access to your email, to your Google or Apple account, or to your device. That’s why there is no authentication app or SMS to set up: Aiden doesn’t use them.

Ways to sign in

  • Email code (always available): you enter your email and receive a 6-digit code that expires after 10 minutes and can only be used once.
  • Continue with Google or Continue with Apple: you sign in with the Google or Apple account that uses the same email. Aiden doesn’t ask for a separate code: the protection is whatever that account has.
  • Passkeys: you sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your device’s screen lock, without typing anything. A passkey doesn’t work on a fake website, so it protects you from phishing.

How to add a passkey

  1. Sign in to account.aiden.es with the email code, Google or Apple
  2. Go to Security & sign-in
  3. Under Passkeys, click Add passkey
  4. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your device’s screen lock

You can add a passkey on each device you use and remove any you no longer need from the same list.

Check where you’re signed in

On the same screen you’ll see your open sessions. If there’s a device you don’t recognise, click Sign out next to it.

⚠️ Because the code is sent to your email, and Google and Apple can also sign you in, your Aiden account is only as secure as your mailbox and your Google or Apple account. Protect them with a strong password and turn on their own two-step verification.
