Aiden keeps you informed about everything important for your company through notifications, which appear both in the bell icon in the dashboard’s top menu and via email. This way you’ll never miss a compliance deadline or important document.
Types of notifications
- Upcoming obligations: reminders of your key dates — Confirmation Statement, Annual Accounts, Franchise Tax or Annual Report — with plenty of notice
- New documents: when Aiden uploads a document to your file (certificates, HMRC letters, etc.)
- Changes at Companies House: automatic updates detected in the UK business register
- Ticket status: when the support team responds to a query you’ve opened
- Payment reminders: notifications before your subscription renews or if a payment fails
How reminders escalate
For the most important tax obligations, reminders intensify as the deadline approaches: you’ll receive an initial notice weeks in advance and additional reminders as the deadline gets closer, making it virtually impossible to miss the deadline.
Configure which notifications you receive
In Settings → Notifications you can choose which notifications you want to receive by email and which you prefer to see only within the dashboard. Critical compliance notifications are always sent for security purposes.
💡 Tip: check that your contact email is up to date in Settings. That’s where your most important tax reminders will arrive.
