Connecting a payment method in Aiden Books is quick and only needs to be done once. Once connected, you can offer it on your invoices so your customers can pay that way.
Step by step
- Go to Books → Integrations
- In the Available group, find the integration you want to activate (for example, Stripe)
- Click Connect or Configure
- Follow the authorisation steps (in the case of Stripe, you’ll log in or create an account and authorise the connection)
- Once complete, the integration will appear in the Connected group and you’ll be able to use it
Connecting Stripe (the most common method)
For card payments, the key integration is Stripe. When you click Connect, the official Stripe page opens where you log in (or create a free account) and authorise Aiden to connect. The process is secure: Aiden never accesses your money or card data.
What happens after connecting?
Once the integration is connected, when you create an invoice you’ll be able to select that method as a payment option. For example, with Stripe connected, you can choose «Credit or debit card» and your customer will receive a payment link.
Do I need to connect every time?
No. You only connect an integration once. From then on it’s available for all your invoices until you decide to disconnect it.
