The Security PIN is an additional layer of protection for your Aiden dashboard. Once activated, you’ll be asked to enter a 4-digit code each time you log in, both on the web and mobile app. It’s an extra barrier that protects your information even if someone obtains your password.
Why activate it?
- Protects your sensitive information (company data, documents, tax details) with a second barrier
- Especially useful if you use the app on a device that others sometimes share
- Even if someone had your password, they couldn’t log in without the PIN
How to activate the PIN
- Go to Settings → Security
- Tap Activate PIN
- Enter a 4-digit code
- Confirm it by entering it again
- From that moment on, it will be requested at each login
How to change the PIN
From the same Settings → Security section, you can change your PIN at any time. It will ask for your current PIN before allowing you to set a new one.
What if I forget my PIN?
If you forget your PIN, you can reset it using the recovery link sent to your contact email. That’s why it’s important to keep your email address up to date.
Tips for a strong PIN
- Don’t use obvious combinations like 1234, 0000 or your birth year
- Don’t share it with anyone
- Choose a number you’ll remember but that’s not easy to guess
💡 Tip: we recommend activating the PIN for all users, but it’s especially important if you access from mobile or shared computers.
